Diet during pregnancy can harm your baby.

A new study conducted on baboons, suggests that in the first half of pregnancy diet the baby's brain damaged development.

The researchers found that if pregnant baboons of a moderately reduced-calorie diet followed, brain development was affected by their fetuses.

Scientists believe that this can have implications for human pregnancy Dieting while pregnant may lower your child's IQ.

Led by Dr. Peter Nathanielsz and Dr. Thomas McDonald, Academy of Sciences released (not available online) in the journal of proceedings of the national.

The baboons were divided into two groups:

A group ate so many future moms wanted much as in the first half of pregnancy while the other group 30% less power similar to a level of nutrition experience, especially if you have morning sickness.

The unborn baby in the Group of the "diet" baboons had made slow cell division and fewer connections between neurons.

Scientists in particular concerns about two vulnerable groups: teen mothers, their growing K?rper means you need more nutrients for themselves, and older mothers, stiffer arteries, which the flow of blood (and therefore nutrients) reduce the uterus have.

Other experts have agreed that diets is a bad idea in pregnancy, but suggested that the risks may be not so great fear as scientists. Dr. Patrick O'Brien, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, was quoted in the daily mail says:

All studies in humans have not proposed that the moderate diet in the first half of pregnancy causes problems. Our advice is unver?ndert-, that pregnant women should eat healthy mixed and should avoid diets, but also, avoid "Eating for two".

Aim to be a healthy weight before conception. (This can increase your chances of pregnancy.)Talk to your doctor about your diet. Do not attempt while pregnancy diet, except where you are doing so because of the medical advice.
